His Excellency Saad S. Khan, President of ECO Cultural Institute, and Mahmood Shalooei, Head of the Society for the Appreciation of Cultural Works and Dignitaries (SACWD), met on January 6, 2024, at the Society’s Headquarters to discuss cultural cooperation between the two organizations.
During the meeting, Mr. Shalooei welcomed the new President of ECO Cultural Institute and expressed his hope to deepen the cultural ties between the organizations. He emphasized the importance of celebrating the cultural heritage of the ECO member countries, including the commemoration of the dignitaries of Iran and the ECO member countries, as well as the ancient festivals of Yalda Night and Nowruz.
In response, H.E. Dr. Khan welcomed the expansion of joint cultural activities and shared his vision for further cooperation. Both sides reiterated their commitment to continue and further expand cultural cooperation in the future, underscoring the importance of cultural exchange and understanding between the ECO member countries.
