At the Global Tourism Forum 2025, held from 18 to 20 October 2025 in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, Uzbekistan was officially awarded the title of “Best Cultural Tourism Destination of the Year.” The event brought together delegates from over 50 countries and was organized by the World Tourism Forum Institute (WTFI) in collaboration with international tourism bodies.
