On the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and death anniversary of Allameh Iqbal Lahori, ECI and Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Tehran University, jointly organized an international seminar on "Pakistan and Urdu Studies" in Iran on April 21, 2024 at the ECI Conference Hall.
At the opening of this Seminar, His Excellency Mr. Saad Khan emphasized the importance of deep connection between Persian and Urdu languages and Mr. Mohammad Muadaser Tipu, Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Dr. Abdulreza Saif, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Tehran University, expressed their views online about the importance and the need for paying further attention to the "Pakistan and Urdu Studies in Iran".
Other speakers of Seminar included: Dr. Najeeb Arif, Dr. Mohammad Salim Mazhar, Mr. Mohammad Abbasi, Dr. Ali Shahidi, Dr. Ali Bayat, Dr. Ali Kavousi Nezhad, Dr. Saeed Shirazi and Dr. vafa Yazdan Manesh.
It should be mentioned that during this Seminar a documentary clip about Pakistan was broadcasted and also the students of Urdu language and literature performed a song.
