Investigating the prospects of cinema development during Iran's Fajr Film Festival with the participation of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan
Film director Sahysalykh Bayramov, representative of the Turkmenfilm Association named after Oguzhan, took part as an honorary guest in the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival held in Tehran from February 1 to 11.
The largest Fajr Film Festival is held annually on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran - the Day of Revolution.This year, the festival received an impressive number of applications - 621 from 87 countries. The winners in three categories - "Sodaye-Simorgh" (the main competition section of the festival), "New Perspective" (novice directors), and "Animation" - were determined based on the results of the competition program.
Cinema industry professionals from Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan will try to maintain and strengthen the common cultural space, create joint cinema projects, share the best practices in the field of cinema, including film production, film training and supporting young professionals.
