Turkmen club "Galkan" won the championship of the international ice hockey tournament, which was held in Ashgabat with the participation of ten teams from Asia and Europe. Turkmenistan achieved this success by defeating the Russian "ADIHIC-Kazan" team in the final match - 4:2.
Also, the players of the Belarusian club "Volat" won the bronze medal of the tournament by defeating "Phoenix" of Uzbekistan.
The international ice hockey tournament was held from April 15 to 20, in Ashgabat winter sports complex with the participation of club teams from Bahrain, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.
