Uzbek film wins “The Best Short Film” in Türkiye
Dimitri Lebedev's film "The Taste of Grapes" won the best short film at Turan International Short Film Festival in Izmir, Turkey
Türkiye’s Izmir hosted the International Short Film Festival “Turan”.
It was attended by Uzbek director Dmitry Lebedev with his work “The Taste of Grapes”. Cinematographers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye,
Iran, Azerbaijan, France, and Hungary also presented their works.
Dmitry Lebedev’s short film “The Taste of Grapes” won the nomination “Best Short Film”. The main roles were played by Dilyor Fozilov and Roziya Raimkulova, actors of the Farhad Mahmudov film workshop. The co-author of the script and Assistant Director is Aleksandr Amelin, a student of the Tashkent branch of the All-Russian State University of Cinematography.
Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture Firdavs Abdukhalikov was presented with the “For His Contribution to the Art of Cinema” award.
