MAZAR-I-SHARIF: A three-day exhibition of handicrafts and domestic products under the theme of ‘Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi’ has been held in the country’s northern province of Balkh, the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Investment Department said in a statement the other day. Director of the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Investment Asadullah Asadi said that around 130 booths in a hall are displayed for women and men, of which 80 booths are allocated to women and 50 booths to men, according to the statement.
The exhibition manager at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that 50 domestic and international exhibitions are planned to be held this solar year in the country and out of these 50 exhibitions, nine will be held outside Afghanistan in countries like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Turkiye. Holding exhibitions in various provinces of the country has increased in recent months, and industrialists consider it beneficial for the growth of domestic products.
