Negaarineh Khat Calligraphy-Painting Course Advances to Practical Techniques
The fourth session of Negaarineh Khat (a Persian calligraphy-painting style) Course was held on Thursday, June, 27, at the diplomatic Library of ECI, attended by a group of professors, artists and students of the advanced calligraphy courses.
The fourth session of the Negaarineh Khat calligraphy workshop began on Thursday, June 27, 2024, attended by distinguished professors, artists, and students at the Diplomatic Library of the ECO Cultural Institute.
Following theoretical sessions, the fourth session focused on practical techniques related to colour mixing, creating secondary colours, and preparing calligraphy tools.
Professor Rahimi taught how to write with a calligraphy pen and how to move the pen with gouache and acrylic techniques on cardboard and canvas, and then Prof. Rahimi reviewed the participants' practical exercises related to the arrangement of letters and their colouring.
Master Rahimi instructed on calligraphy with a pen, demonstrating the guache and acrylic push technique on cardboard and canvas, followed by a review of participants’ practical exercises in letter arrangement and colouration.
It should be noted that the calligraphy training workshop for registered students is held every Thursday, from 10:30 to 13.00, at the ECI Library.
