Tehran - The ECO Cultural Institute announced that the official opening ceremony of the "Simorgh Imagination and Shahnameh Frames" exhibition was held on Thursday, 27 Shahrivar 1404 (18 September 2025), from 15:00 to 17:00, at the institute.
This event was organized to commemorate Persian Poetry and Literature Day and to promote Ferdowsi's epic heritage and Iranian miniature art within the framework of ECO's regional cultural activities.
During the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by Dr. Mehrdad Rakhshandeh, Acting President and Executive Director of the ECO Cultural Institute, Dr. Farzaneh Zarei, university professor, and Taha Gasemi, representative of the artists.
Alongside the ceremony, an exhibition of artworks inspired by the Shahnameh, including miniatures and frames related to the Simorgh, was showcased.
The exhibition will remain open to the public on Friday, 28 Shahrivar, Sunday, 30 Shahrivar, and Monday, 31 Shahrivar 1404, from 10:00 to 19:00.
