With the support of the City Image Institute in the Cultural and Artistic Organization of Tehran Municipality, the 9th International City and Suburb Film Festival was held at Pardis Mellat from November 10 to 12, 2025.
The City Film Festival is a biennial event, and the secretary of this edition of the festival is Ms. Maryam Pirkari.
The works in the international, short, documentary, animated and restored sections were screened. Also, on the sidelines of this international festival, a book exhibition was held with an urban theme, specifically the connection between the city and cinema, where visitors were able to visit this exhibition and receive special gifts. photo gallery and photography competitions were also another highlight of this international festival.
It is worth noting that in the international section, two ECO member States, Tajikistan and Türkiye, submitted works to be presented in international competitions.
Life is Beautiful, by Mr. Daler Rahmanov from the Republic of Tajikistan, and In the Passing of Time, by Mr. Selim Evci from the Republic of Türkiye, were screened at this festival.
