the conference of the First Human Rights Charter in the World” was held at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the conference participants delivered speeches on the history of the Cyrus the Great Charter, the significant contribution of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, in reviving the legacy of Cyrus the Great, and the adoption by UNESCO of a special resolution on celebrating the 2550th anniversary of this declaration.
It was stated at the event that the Human Rights Charter of Cyrus the Great is one of the earliest and most influential legal documents in history. It introduced the concept of human rights and fundamental freedoms, including freedom of conscience, national equality, and other essential human rights. This declaration laid the foundations of democracy and human rights across the world and played an important role in the development of various nations, including the formation of human rights structures globally.
