Ambassador Mohammad Hassan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute, met with H.E. Dr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran.
During the meeting, H.E. Dr. Zohidi warmly welcomed Ambassador Mohammad Hassan and congratulated him on his appointment as President of the Institute. He highlighted the Institute’s distinguished international standing and described it as one of the region’s most important cultural institutions.
Ambassador Mohammad Hassan outlined the Institute’s forthcoming programs and emphasized the importance of continued and enhanced cooperation with the Embassy in their implementation. In response, the Tajik Ambassador expressed his full readiness to strengthen and expand cultural and artistic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the ECO Cultural Institute.
The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to broadening bilateral cultural cooperation.
