ECO Cultural Institute Celebrates Rudaki Commemoration Day

ECO Cultural Institute Celebrates Rudaki Commemoration Day
The ECO Cultural Institute extends its congratulations on the commemoration day of the brilliant star of Persian poetry, Abu Abdullah Jafar ibn Mohammad Rudaki, to all lovers of culture, literature, and art, especially Persian speakers across the ECO geographical expanse.
Rudaki, the eloquent poet of delicate verse, is not only the founder of classical Persian poetry but also the connector of our shared culture's past and present. From Balkh and Samarqand to Isfahan and Shiraz, from the lands of Tajikistan and Iran to the soil of Afghanistan and other sister nations, the echo of Rudaki's voice still resonates in the Pamir Mountains and the valleys of Khujand. Today, at the ECO Cultural Institute, by reflecting on his invaluable legacy, we take pride in being guardians of a part of this unique treasure. May the flag of Persian poetry and literature, inspired by the immortal verses of this unparalleled master, remain forever hoisted high in the history and culture of our region. May it be that under the shelter of our common language, the cultural bonds of the region's nations grow stronger each day.
