The Yunus Emre Children's Choir recently performed the "Hayriye" concert at the ECO Cultural Institute’s headquarters, marking a significant milestone in cultural cooperation between the Yunus Emre Institute in Tehran and the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI).
Rooted in the heart of Erzincan and built upon local authenticities, the event was led by conductor Ms. Zohreh Abdoli. Featuring a diverse repertoire of musical pieces performed by talented young artists, the concert successfully conveyed messages of peace, friendship, and international solidarity through the universal language of music.
The program commenced with opening remarks by the President of the ECO Cultural Institute, Mr. Mohammad Hasan, followed by a speech from Mr. Akif Şahin, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Tehran. Beyond a mere musical performance, this gathering served as a symbol of cultural synergy and soft diplomacy among international organizations based in Tehran. Held on December 31, 2025 (10 Dey 1404), the event showcased a profound connection between enduring heritage and the new generation through the choir's precise execution of selected pieces. This created an atmosphere of deep empathy and cultural kinship that was warmly received by the audience and distinguished cultural figures. The success of this joint project and the valued presence of guests on this memorable night underscore the power of art in forging lasting bonds and promoting the region's rich identity, setting a promising precedent for future artistic collaborations.
