To strengthen cultural diplomacy and leverage the shared historical heritage of the region's nations, a joint meeting was held between Mr. Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hejazi, CEO of Abbasabad Renovation Company, accompanied by his delegation, and Dr. Mohammad Hasan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI).
During this meeting on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 (10 Dey 1404), both parties discussed and exchanged views on bilateral cooperation capacities within the cultural and civilizational spheres of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states.
The primary focus of the meeting was exploring the potential for developing "ECO Park" as a prominent symbol of regional solidarity in Tehran. Located within the Abbasabad lands, ECO Park provides a specialized and unique platform for introducing the spiritual heritage, traditions, and authentic arts of the nations in this region, playing a significant role in deepening regional cultural and civilizational ties.
During the discussions, the parties agreed to organize a joint transnational event centered on "Nowruz" at ECO Park. This event is planned to honor shared civilizational traditions and introduce the tourism potential of the Abbasabad Cultural Area on an international level. Emphasizing the importance of urban diplomacy, Mr. Hejazi declared Abbasabad Renovation Company’s full readiness to host major civilizational events with the participation of ECO member states, aiming to take a significant step toward greater solidarity among the nations of this region.
