EHRAN, February 8 – H.E. Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Hassan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), met today with Dr. Seyed Behshid Hosseini, President of the University of Art. Accompanied by the ECI Executive Director, the Ambassador discussed potential avenues for cooperation in academic, artistic, and research fields.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of academic diplomacy in strengthening cultural ties among ECO member states. The discussions specifically focused on collaboration in the fields of performing arts, music, and other cultural issues. To formalize these initiatives, both parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The talks also covered organizing joint international art festivals and collaborative efforts to preserve the region's shared tangible and intangible heritage.
