On 13 January 2026, Amb. Mohammad Hassan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), held a meeting with Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Imani-Pour, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the existing cultural ties, shared civilizational foundations, and mutual capacities for cooperation at the regional level. Views were exchanged on ways to expand cultural, academic, and international collaboration.
The discussions focused on strengthening institutional cooperation, developing joint cultural programs, and making effective use of mutual capacities in line with shared objectives. Both parties also underlined the importance of coordination among cultural institutions to enhance cultural dialogue and promote regional convergence.
The meeting was held within the framework of the ECO Cultural Institute’s ongoing efforts to broaden cultural cooperation and deepen relations with cultural institutions in the region.
