On May 5 of this year, in the city of Dushanbe, a nationwide scientific-practical conference will be held dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the National Poet of Tajikistan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and Hero of Tajikistan — Mirzo Tursunzoda, under the theme “Mirzo Tursunzoda — National Poet and Outstanding Global Personality,” reports the news agency Khovar.
The conference is organized by the Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, with invitations extended to scholars, linguists, literary experts, and researchers.
Topics to be Discussed at the Conference: “Mirzo Tursunzoda — Advocate of Peace and Friendship", “The Role of Mirzo Tursunzoda in the Formation of Contemporary Tajik Literature”, “Mirzo Tursunzoda — Patriotic and Devoted Poet", “Promotion of National and Humanitarian Ideas in the Works of Mirzo Tursunzoda", “Mirzo Tursunzoda and His Influence and Impact on Literature", “Mirzo Tursunzoda’s Contribution to the Expansion of Literary Relations among Nations”, “Linguistic, Stylistic, and Grammatical Features of Mirzo Tursunzoda’s Works,” and others.
Mirzo Tursunzoda is a great son of the Tajik people and always composed poetry in praise of his homeland and ancestral land.
As the Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan has stated:
“The pure love of Professor Mirzo Tursunzoda for his ancestral land, water, and soil of the homeland will undoubtedly serve as a supreme example and lesson for many generations of our nation.”
