ECO Cultural Institute, as an international and regional body, expresses profound concern over the destruction of universities, schools, and public libraries in Iran that have been targeted during US-Israeli attacks.
As these centerrs serve educational and cultural purposes, they are essential for nurturing the youth generation. The loss of these institutions will jeopardize the future of coming generations.
In this context, the silence and lack of action by of international organizations amidst the destruction of these institutions is at odds with their fundamental responsibility.
ECO Cultural Institute, reaffirming its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the host country of this Institute, and reminds once again that damage to educational and cultural centers impairs the shared cultural identity of the region, as the peoples of this Region share numerous commonalities in culture, and students from other countries of the ECO Region also study at these educational and cultural centers.
