The first Tajik restaurant, named “Umar Khayyam,” has opened at the EXPOBEL shopping center. This event is considered an important step in promoting Tajik culture and national cuisine abroad.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, Bakhtovar Safarzoda.
Guests at the event were introduced to traditional Tajik dishes, including osh palov and qurutob, and also enjoyed a cultural program featuring music and national traditions.
