This year’s theme is “Cooperation Based on Turkic Friendship: International Relations Perspectives from History to the Future.” The congress will be held at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Marmara University in Istanbul between 15–17 May 2026.
Academics and researchers from Türkiye and many other countries will present papers in various fields throughout the congress. Among the participants, Dr. Ahmet Akalın, Assistant Director of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), will present his paper titled “Institutional Actors in Türkiye’s Soft Power Architecture within the Geography of the Economic Cooperation Organization”.
The congress is organized by the Turkic World Yoruk Turkmen Union and hosted by the Faculty of Political Sciences at Marmara University. The event is supported by institutions and organizations such as Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Union of Municipalities of the Turkic World, Organization of Turkic States, and International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY).
