On May 22, 2026, the “Tajikistan–Azerbaijan Business Forum” was held in with the participation of government officials and private sector representatives from both countries. The forum was organized within the framework of the 8th Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two states, aiming to expand trade relations, attract investment, and implement joint projects.
During the forum, the economic and investment potential, free economic zones, and tax incentives of both countries were presented. In addition, B2B meetings were held with the participation of around 80 Tajik and Azerbaijani companies, and several cooperation agreements and bilateral contracts were signed.
