(Khovar) — Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan took part in the 14th International Cultural Festival organized by ADA University.
According to the Embassy of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan, the festival aimed to showcase the history, culture, art, and national cuisines of foreign countries.
As part of the festival, Tajikistan’s national pavilion was presented alongside those of other participating countries. The exhibit featured examples of the country’s rich folk crafts, including traditional embroidery (suzani), souvenir items made of ceramics and wood, colorful stones from Tajikistan, and printed materials highlighting the country’s tourism opportunities. Another section of the pavilion displayed a traditional Tajik table with a variety of national dishes.
At the conclusion of the event, a concert program featuring traditional songs and dances from different countries was held, during which a traditional Tajik dance was also performed.
The festival was attended by representatives of several embassies accredited in Azerbaijan, faculty members and students of the university, as well as members of the media.
