ECI Publishes the Ninth Issue of "ECONAMEH"
The ECO Cultural Institute has released the ninth issue of its electronic monthly magazine, ECONAMEH, featuring four comprehensive sections dedicated to the cultural heritage of ECO member states, the Institute’s recent activities, scholarly articles, and the latest cultural and artistic developments across the ECO region.
Tehran – ECO Cultural Institute: The ECO Cultural Institute has published the ninth issue of its electronic monthly magazine, ECONAMEH (Issue 9, Khordad 1405 / May–June 2026). The new issue is organized into four main sections, featuring cultural, scholarly, and news-related content from across the ECO region.
The first section is dedicated to the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of ECO member states, highlighting a diverse range of historical monuments, traditional customs and practices, indigenous arts, and local knowledge systems.
The second section presents a report on the recent activities, meetings, exhibitions, and cooperative initiatives of the ECO Cultural Institute. These include congratulatory messages on the national occasions of member countries, book launch ceremonies, the continuation of the “Introducing ECO Countries” lecture series, and commemorative events celebrating cultural and sporting achievements.
The third section contains the special feature of this issue, comprising two analytical articles. The first explores Islamic architecture and patterns of artistic exchange across the ECO region, while the second examines the role of women as a vital pillar in the transmission and preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
The fourth section provides a selection of major cultural and artistic news from ECO member states and introduces a number of upcoming regional events and initiatives.
As the official publication of the ECO Cultural Institute, ECONAMEH continues to serve as a dynamic platform for showcasing the rich cultural and civilizational heritage of the ECO region and for fostering intercultural dialogue among its member nations.
