Tehran, 6 August 2026 – H.E. Dr. Mohammad Hassan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), met with Ms. Farhat Jabeen Ali, Press & Education Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Tehran, to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation in cultural and educational fields.
H.E. Dr. Mohammad Hassan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), held a meeting with Ms. Farhat Jabeen Ali, Press & Education Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Tehran, on 6 August 2026 at the Institute’s headquarters in Tehran.
The discussion focused on the importance of cultural and educational exchange as a means of strengthening connections among ECO member states and encouraging greater engagement between cultural institutions.
During the meeting, H.E. Dr. Mohammad Hassan underlined ECI’s role in creating platforms for cultural interaction, knowledge sharing, and joint initiatives that showcase the diverse heritage of the ECO region.
Ms. Farhat Jabeen Ali conveyed her appreciation for the Institute’s activities and highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in areas related to culture, education, and mutual understanding.
The two sides expressed their interest in exploring further possibilities for cooperation and supporting programs that contribute to the promotion of cultural ties between Pakistan and the ECO Cultural Institute.
