Tehran, 10 August 2026* — H.E. Mr. Gyula Pethő, Ambassador of Hungary to the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by Mr. Gabor Szucs, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Hungary, visited the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) today.
During the visit, the Hungarian diplomatic delegation met with H.E. Dr. Muhammad Hassan, President of ECI, and received a briefing on the Institute’s activities, programmes, and areas of cultural cooperation.
The delegation also toured various sections of the Institute and became acquainted with its cultural, artistic, and educational initiatives, as well as its role in promoting cultural cooperation among the ECO Member States.
The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on ECI’s programmes and explore potential avenues for expanded cultural engagement and cooperation between ECI and Hungary.
