Dr. Sayed Asgar Mousavi, an Afghan researcher, writer, and poet, met with the President of the ECO Cultural Institute for a discussion on cultural cooperation and regional cultural relations.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the importance and role of culture in strengthening relations among the peoples of the region and expanding cultural cooperation.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of continuing and expanding cooperation between the Afghanistan Studies Center and the ECO Cultural Institute. The exchange of information and resources, the organization of cultural and academic meetings, and the creation of opportunities for sharing perspectives and experiences in the field of culture were among the key topics discussed.
Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining these interactions and making use of existing capacities to develop joint cultural programmes. They also expressed their support for organizing joint cultural meetings and programmes as a means of strengthening cultural relations and promoting mutual cultural understanding in the region.
