The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), in collaboration with Türkiye’s Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), will host an International Media Literacy Conference in Tehran on August 18, bringing together media experts, diplomats, and cultural representatives to discuss the evolving role of media literacy and its contribution to international cooperation.
Tehran, August 11, 2026 — The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), in collaboration with the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) of Türkiye, will host the International Media Literacy Conference in Tehran on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The conference will feature Ms. Feyza Gizligider, Head of the Strategy Development Department at RTÜK and a leading expert in media literacy in Türkiye, who will attend the event accompanied by a delegation from RTÜK.
The event will bring together ambassadors, cultural leaders, media professionals, and experts to exchange views on the evolving role of media literacy and its significance in strengthening international dialogue and cooperation.
