ECO Cultural Institute Congratulates Uzbekistan on Independence Day
Tehran – The ECO Cultural Institute extends its warmest congratulations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
Observed annually on 1 September, Independence Day marks a defining chapter in Uzbekistan’s modern history and stands as a profound symbol of national sovereignty, identity, and the enduring aspirations of its people for peace, prosperity, and progress.
With its illustrious history and rich cultural heritage, Uzbekistan has made invaluable contributions to the development of regional civilization and the flourishing of the cultural traditions of the ECO region. 
The historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, together with the country’s numerous cultural treasures, remain enduring testaments to Uzbekistan’s distinguished place in the history and heritage of the region.
The ECO Cultural Institute regards the shared heritage and longstanding cultural bonds among the peoples of the ECO region as a precious foundation for dialogue, mutual understanding, and the further advancement of regional cooperation. These enduring ties provide a strong basis for deepening cultural relations and fostering greater interaction among ECO Member States.
