The ECO Cultural Institute recognizes the valuable place of the Kyrgyz Republic among the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization and emphasizes the deep historical and cultural bonds that connect the peoples of the ECO region. These enduring ties provide a strong foundation for mutual understanding, friendship, and closer regional cooperation.
With its rich cultural heritage, including longstanding traditions, folk arts, literature, music, and oral heritage, the Kyrgyz Republic makes a distinctive contribution to the cultural diversity of the ECO region. Such shared and diverse cultural legacies offer valuable opportunities for strengthening cultural dialogue and fostering greater cooperation among the peoples of the region.
