ECI to Host the Research Section of 33rd Fajr Int'l Music Festival
The research section of the 33rd Fajr International Music Festival will be held in cooperation with ECO Cultural Institute.

According to ECI Public Relations, the research section of the 33rd Fajr International Music Festival which will host a number of scholars from Germany, Austria, Poland, and Iran will be held at ECO Cultural Institute.

The program includes four speeches and two workshops on specialty fields involving:

"The Structure and Perspective of Jazz" with the attendance of Michaels Carr from Austria, Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm.

"Official Contests in Music (Existence, Functions, Opportunities and Risks)" with the attendance of Klaus Neumann of Germany, Friday, January 12, 2018, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm.

"Classical Music Aesthetics and its Comparison with Persian Music Trends" with the attendance of Mohammad Saeed Sharifian, Friday, January 12, 2018, 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm.

A workshop on "Contemporary Playing of the Posture Based Santur (Persian hammered dulcimer)" with the attendance of Ardavan Kamkar, Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm.

The educational workshop on "Auditory Processing, Sense of Hearing, Sonority" with the attendance of Hamid Motebassem, Friday, January 19, 2018, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm.

"Definitions and structure of Electro-Acoustic Music and Its History in Iran" with the attendance of Martina Kaska from Poland, Friday, January 19, 2018, from 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm.

Admissions to all of the research programs will be free of charge and valid certificates will be issued to the participants in this section.
