Female Diplomats' One-day Tour to Qazvin
A delegation composed of a number of Ambassadors' spouses and female diplomats from different countries residing in Tehran visited Qazvin province at the invitation of ECO Cultural Institute and Qazvin Governorate.

According to ECI Public Relations, diplomats' spouse from Romania, Turkey, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Finland, Austria, Algeria and Japan took a one-day tour to Qazvin and visited historical places and monuments of the city. Qazvin bazaar, Qeisarieh bazzar, Sa'd-ol-Saltaneh Bazarcheh, and Qazvin Carpet House were among the major sites visited.

According to the report, following the visit, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qazvin, the delegation visited Sardar Mofakham edifice and the museum of Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran's former Foreign Minister.

During the visit, a number of female officials and representatives from Qazvin including the representative of Qazvin people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Members of City Council of Qazvin, and social and economic activists of the province met with the delegation and both sides stressed the need for further deepening of interactions and continuous expansion of cooperation in various fields.

At the end of the tour, the delegation of female diplomats visited the 4th exhibition of women's achievements in Qazvin. The exhibition featured the achievements of women entrepreneurs in Qazvin province was inaugurated with the presence of the Governor of Qazvin and the female diplomats. In the ceremony, the message of Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI president was read by Mohammad Mahmoudi, Media Advisor to ECI President. In his message, ECI president called for the expansion of bilateral cooperation between the Qazvin Governorate and ECO Cultural Institute.
