ECI President, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri has voiced deep regret over the fatal crash of a Turkish private jet in Iran.
Dr. Mazaheri's message of condolences reads:
The crash of Turkish plane in the territory of Iran was a matter of regret. On behalf of ECO member states which share a common heritage of affection and altruism, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences on the tragic calamity to the bereaved families, the people, and the government of Turkey as one of ECO Members States.
