On Monday, August 13, 2018, the fourth meeting of ECI's policy-making council of culture and science was held at the Faculty of World Studies of University of Tehran between ECI and the Secretariat for the Advancement of Science and Technology in the Islamic World (SASTIW).
According to ECI Public Relations, the meeting was held in the presence of a number of faculty members and heads of universities, research centers and international cultural centers including Dr. Mazaheri, Dr. Mousavi Movahedi, Dr. Ameli, Dr. Faraji Dana, Dr. Tehranchi, Dr. Afkhami and Dr. Ghobadi at the Faculty of World Studies of University of Tehran.
The participants discussed subjects including research and scholarly cooperation, revision of executive bylaws and regulations, holding cultural and literary festivals, introducing books and appreciating best authors of the region, conducting research projects, defining academic and higher education chairs and holding expert panels featuring the presence of ambassadors and diplomatic officials from member states and other countries.
Through its regular meeting, ECI's policy-making council of culture and science reviews and adopts ECI- SASTIW joint programs.
