Trilateral MoU Signed between ECI, Farabi Cinema Foundation & the Islamic Culture & Guidance Directorate of Khorasan Razavi Province
While signing the trilateral MoU between ECO Cultural Institute, Farabi Cinema Foundation and the Director-General's Office of I.R.I. Ministry of Culture in Razavi Khorasan Province (AFA), the holy city of Mashhad was officially announced as the focal point for cinematic activities of ECO countries.
According to the ECI Public Relations, during the ceremony held at Imam Reza Arts-Cultural Complex on Thursday, August 3, 2018 featuring the presence of Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, ECI President; Alireza Tabesh, head of Farabi Cinema Foundation and Dr. Morwarid, the Head of the Islamic Culture and Guidance Directorate of Khorasan Razavi province.
The establishment of a permanent secretariat for joint cooperation as well as a support fund for cinematic productions, providing ample, proper opportunities and facilities for producing cinematic creations and exchange of professionals in the area of cinema among ECO countries are but few of the items agreed upon within the framework of this MoU.
