With the signing of an MoU by Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI President, and Dr. Gholamreza Khajehsarvi, MD of Malek National Library and Museum, the two sides officially commenced joint cooperation on Monday September 3, 2018.
According to ECI Public Relations, the parties involved in the MoU underscored joint cooperation in the field of organizing scholarly meetings, publication of professional materials, conducting research projects, exchange of information in common areas of interest, promotion of activities pertaining to curatorship, librarianship, codicology as well as preservation and restoration of cultural and historical objects among the ECO countries.
As an international institution stationed in Iran, ECI has signed tens of MoUs with prominent national, academic, cultural and research centers and has thus provided the ground for the promotion of the concepts of Iranian-Islamic arts and culture in the ECO countries.
