The 6th meeting of ECO Cultural Institute and the Secretariat for the Advancement of Science and Technology in the Islamic World (SASTIW) was held at the Faculty of World Studies at University of Tehran.
According to ECI news, the sixth meeting of ECI's Policy-Making Council of Culture & Science was held at the Faculty of World Studies at University of Tehran on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 and attended by a number of faculty members and university chancellors as well as heads of research and international cultural centers including Dr. Mazaheri, Dr. Moosavi-Movahedi, Dr. Ameli, Dr. Avani, Dr. Faraji Dana, Dr. Afkhami, Dr. Ghobadi and Dr. Talebpour.
The members of the council discussed cooperation in the fields of science and culture, organizing cultural and literary festivals, commemoration of regional prominent personalities, conducting research projects, holding expert panels as well as scientific and literary lecture sessions, etc. to be attended by the ambassadors and diplomats of both the member states and other countries.
Through its regular meeting, ECI's policy-making council of culture and science reviews and adopts ECI- SASTIW joint programs.
