In collaboration with the Secretariat of Eastern Iran Music and the ECO Cultural Institute, the first of a series of workshops on 'Music and Sustainable Development' was held at the ECO Diplomatic Conference Hall, attended by the president of ECO Cultural Institute and the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iran.
At the workshop, held with event-oriented tourism approach, the details of this international project was presented which was accompanied by a performance of 'Silk Road' music band from Afghanistan that was warmly welcomed by the participants.
The series of workshops in the field of music of ECO member states intend to contribute to the development of art tourism with music approach in all of these countries.
