'Spring in Seven Images as Narrated by the Artworks of Malek National Museum &Library'
The exhibition 'Spring in Seven Images as Narrated by the Artworks of Malek National Museum and Library' was held on the occasion of the advent of Norouz. At the event participated by Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI President; Dr. Gholamreza Khajeh Sarvi, director of Malek National Museum and Library, artists and a group of ambassadors and diplomats residing in Iran, the role of museums as one of the elements of peace promotion was underscored.

According to ECI news, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI President, delivered a speech at the event appreciating Malek Museum for hosting the representatives of the member states and said: "Museums can play a noteworthy role in the proper protection of tangible and intangible heritage as well as promotion of the national identity of the countries".

Mazaheri further noted: "Museums, as one of the components of public diplomacy, play an important role in consolidation of peace and at ECO Cultural Institute, we have particularly focused on the mutual comprehension of cultures through the promotion of the region's museums".

Elsewhere at the event, Gholamreza Khajeh Sarvi, the director of Malek National Museum and Library, appreciated the support rendered by the ECI President for the promotion of cultural commonalities among nations and said: "Since this upcoming Norouz, the house of the late Malek located in Tehran Bazaar will gradually turn into Bazaar Library and Museum offering Iranian-Islamic contents".

It is worth mentioning that for the first time during the last 24 years, ECO Cultural Institute launched the exhibition titled "Achaemenids Golden Treasures" in collaboration with Reza Abbasi and Bank Melli Iran Museums which was warmly received by the artists and foreign diplomats residing in Tehran.
