The book titled 'Sotim & Ulughzoda National Culture' has been written by Sirajuddin Imomali, the contemporary prominent Tajik scholar, which has been translated for the first time into Persian by Shahmansoor Khajeov, ECI's cultural expert in Tajikistan affairs, and edited by Zahra Aslani.
The book, released with the introduction of Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI president, is important not only in terms of cultural value but also the validity of its content and the time of its writing and publication and stands as a firm document on the history of Tajikistan's literature. Among the most important features of the book is the deliberation upon different aspects of the life and works of Sotim & Ulughzoda and will thus greatly contribute to the increasing of knowledge and of the scientific and academic community, particularly the researchers of Transoxiana studies, providing them information on the priceless services of this prominent Tajik writer.
Written in 250 pages, the book includes a preface; introduction; abstracts; bibliography; and terminology followed by index, the book has been published in 2019 by the ECO Cultural Institute.
It is worth noting that the launch ceremony of this book was held on March 03, 2019, at ECO Diplomatic Conference Hall and concurrent with the celebration of 'Tajikistan Night'. The event was attended by a group of ambassadors and diplomats residing in Tehran plus a large number of national poets and intellectuals.
