H.E. Mr. Darya Oras, the new Turkish Ambassador to Iran, visited ECI on Monday, April 8, 2019 and talked with the head of this international institution.
According to ECI public relation, at the meeting, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, congratulated the ambassador on the occasion of the New Year and briefed him about ECI's vast scope of plans and programs in the framework of public diplomacy and available grounds for cooperation among the member states and assessed the development of cultural synergy among the ECO member states as important.
Dr. Darya Oras, the New Turkish ambassador to Iran, also pointed to the cultural commonalities among the countries celebrating Nowruz and requested for the expansion of cultural relations among the regional countries during the New Year through ECI.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas on the available grounds for cultural cooperation among the member states and expressed readiness to strengthen exchanges in the areas of arts, culture, literature, science and research among the countries through ECI.
