On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, Dr. Seyed Hassan Soltani, the chancellor of University of Art, Tehran, and a group of his deputies and directors of international affairs met with Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri, the ECI president.
According to ECI public relations, at the meeting the two sides highlighted the role and position of art in the contemporary world and the necessity for paying attention to the common cultural roots of the ECO countries as well as realizing the objectives of the MoU signed between the two bodies.
Holding of the 1st meeting of heads of ECO art universities was the previous joint collaboration of the two bodies discussed at the meeting.
Elsewhere at the meeting, Dr. Mazaheri pointed to the collaboration of ECI in holding 'Diba' clothing and fashion research program and welcomed the participation of creative and talented postgraduate students in joint projects. Cooperation for organizing 'Music and Peace'
conference is one of the future programs of the two institutions.
