ECI President Attends EST Conference

According to ECI public relations, at the one-day trip made at the invitation of Mashhad mayor, Dr. Mazaheri met with the officials of the province and participated at EST conference on the theme of Mashhad, the Creative City of Literature.
At the conference held with the cooperation of ECO Cultural Institute, outstanding figures including Hooshang Moradi Kermani and Mehdi Firoozan delivered speeches.
It is worth mentioning that Khorasan Razavi province, as the neighboring city of two ECO Persian speaking countries of Afghanistan and Tajikistan has received more attention by the ECI management. In the same lines, the 1st ECO cinema office (AFA) was opened last year at Mashhad's Mellat Park. The opening ceremony featured the presence of Dr. Mazaheri, ECI president; the head of Farabi Cinema Foundation, Alireza Tabesh and Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance branch in Khorasan Razavi Province, Ja'far Morvarid.
