In August 2019, the ninth of ECI's arts, cultural, literary and scientific lecture sessions was held at the Diplomatic Conference Hall of ECO Cultural Institute on the subject of 'The Relation of God with the World as Seen by Persian Speaking Luminaries (Sadra, Ferdowsi & Nezami)'.
Present at the event were Dr. Seyyed Mostafa Mohaqqeq Damad, diplomats from ECO member counries, officials of national and international organizations and institutions, directors and advisors and a large number of interested audience.
At the event, Dr. Seyyed Mostafa Mohaqqeq Damad, head of the Islamic Studies department of the Iranian Academy of Sciences, discussed the everlasting relation of God with the world and elaborated on the world's dependency and need for God's presence as viewed by mystics and theologians of ECO region.
Saying that every creature, in its own capacity, is the representation of God the Almighty, he further talked about Sadra's book Asfar al-Arba'ah, Transcendent Theosophy (al-hikmah al-muta'āliyah), God's exitence and other issues pertaining to the subject.
