Focusing on the subject of authentication of historical coins, issue 6 of ECO Norouz magazine has been published in March 2019 by ECO Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RICHT).
This edition deals with topics such as Achaemenid coins analysis to determine their authenticity; determination of identity and authenticity of Espahbodan coins. Tabarestan; recognition and pathology of fake coins entering museums and research centers and examination and clearance of historical coins specifically those unearthed in Hormuz Island.
