Focusing on determining the authenticity of historical objects, issue 7 of ECO Norouz magazine has been published in April 2019 by ECO Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the Islamic Republic of Iran (RICHT).
This edition deals with subjects such as: complicated and interdisciplinary nature of determining the authenticity of arts, cultural and historical objects, an introduction to the methods of identifying and determining the authenticity of gems and precious stones, evaluating the authenticity of silver-based metal objects, case study of Kalmakareh cave in Lorestan, investigating the authenticity of several allegedly ivory works using infrared spectrometry, using cognitive and pathological techniques for the examination of authenticity of tripod paintings.
