H.E. Mr. Sarvar Bakhti, the new ECI president, met with Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour, Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Organization.
According to ECI public relations, at this meeting, the new ECI president presented titles of the programs to be implemented during his tenure and reiterated that he has new ideas and fresh plans on the agenda that could make the Institute more appealing and enhance its status. Taking measures for the accession of more ECO member states to ECI charter, branding handicrafts of the member countries and establishing intangible Cultural Heritage program for the ECO member states were among the topics to which the new ECI president pointed out.
Next, Mr. Hadi Soleimanpour also congratulated Sarvar Bakhti on his appointment as the new ECI president, welcomed his plans and programs and highlighted that the registration of the cultural heritage of the ECO region is a giant leap that could contribute to more solidarity among the member countries.
Continuing his remarks, Soleimanpour added that Economic Cooperation Organization is eager to help realize ECI's plans and programs and will, in this regard, support the Institute.
