'Turkmenistan Enjoys Fine Potentials of Cooperation with ECI'
Sarvar Bakhti, the ECI president, met and talked with H.E. Ahmed Gurbanov, Turkmenistan ambassador to Iran.
According to ECI public relations, at the meeting held on Monday January 27, 2020, Sarvar Bakhti, the ECI president, pointed to Turkmenistan's numerous potentials in the field of culture as well as historic and tourist attractions and underscored that this country is very important to the region and that the Institute is ready to conduct joint programs with the country to promote such potentials.
The ECI president continued his remarks adding: "we will do our best to familiarize the peoples of the ECO region with this country's cultural heritage and luminaries and will utilize all ECI's facilities to this purpose".
Further at the meeting, H.E. Ahmed Gurbanov, Turkmenistan ambassador, congratulated Sarvar Bakhti on his appointment as ECI president and elaborated on the previous cooperation of Turkmenistan embassy with the Institute during the past years. He then called for the expansion of cooperation with this international institute and expressed his readiness to deepen relations.
