Azerbaijan stall was warmly received by the visitors at the charity festival in Nigeria.
According to ECI public relations quoting Day.az, the Republic of Azerbaijan was successfully represented at the charity festival 'Small World 2020' held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Present at the inaugural ceremony were representatives of governmental and social sections, heads of diplomatic missions and others.
During the festival, the guests and media received comprehensive information on the history, culture and traditions of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The visitors were greatly interested in beautiful dresses by Ms. Golnareh Khaliova from the Center of Azerbaijani Traditional Clothes.
The guests were offered traditional sweets and pastries like shekerbura and pakhlava and others.
The festival brought together representatives of 36 world countries living in this city and they offered glimpses of their national culture, cuisine, music and history.
The festival's income will be donated to local schools, hospitals, orphanages and nursing houses.
