The archeological excavations at Temgavan has revealed evidences, such as seals, indicate that at least six thousand years ago the southern part of Kerman had some kind of an administrative management system.
According to ECI public relations quoting IRNA, Fereydoon Faali, the director general of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism of Kerman province, said that the evidence obtained from Temgavan indicate that the area was an important center of pottery production in Halilrood area around six thousand years ago.
He then pointed to the fact that this season of excavations took two months and added: Temgavan ancient hill which has been registered in national heritage list contain evidences belonging to three important cultural periods such as Chalcolithic period, Bronze Age as well as Achaemenid and Parthian periods.
